Dress Design for Shabby Apple Dresses

Here are some dress designs for Shabby Apples Dare to Design contest.
For this dress I see it in a crisp white cotton but I think that navy would be a better choice because I don't see myself wearing a white dress. The ruffle would go all the way around and end at the hem. The sash would also go all the way around and tie in a big bow. I nice fit on top and an a-line skirt that goes just past the knee.
For the dress above it would be in a grass green knit. 3 pleats in the front and a fit like a favorite t-shirt that flares out at the hips. I also think this dress would be cute with a leather belt or a scarf at the waist to make is a little more flattering for some.
For this dress I like buttercup yellow or robins egg blue. The fabric would be cotton for the main dress and a matching silk for the ruffles. Three ruffles on each side of a button up top and three ruffles at the bottom. The skirt is gathered with a sash between that ties in the back.

I have had a great time thinking about these dresses. I wish I was better at drawing and explaining my idea. I love that Shabby Apple designs modest and stylish dresses. Thank you for the contest, I have already had a great time.

Hey, I really like your ideas. Cute, easy to make and they'll fit right in with the rest of the SA line.

Great job!

I love your ideas and I love that website. I just wish the dresses weren't so expensive. Have you ever seen mikarose.com? I bought a dress there for $25.
